Thank you for considering our graduate programs in Psychology at the University of Windsor for your graduate training. The Graduate Program in Psychology is the largest PhD program at the University of Windsor, admitting approximately 16 students per year. There are 30 full-time faculty and 100 graduate students.

The department has strong programs in Applied Social Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Both programs are designed to take six to seven years to complete, including the completion of an MA degree which is expected to be completed within the first two years. MA Completion beyond the two years may jeopardize standing in the program. All of our graduate programs admit students for entry in the Fall term (September start). All programs are full time; there is no part-time option.

Eligible students receive financial support in the first year in the form of entrance scholarships if meeting the required 80% academic average as well as employment as a Graduate Assistant. In addition, students may apply for Tri-Council Scholarship and/or Ontario Graduate Scholar scholarship support prior to commencing studies. Other support may be available from individual faculty for research or applied projects. Additional information about financial support is available from the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
