Dr. Rosanne Menna is a Professor in the Child Area of the Clinical Psychology Program in the Department of Psychology.

She teaches undergraduate courses in the areas of child and adolescent development. The end goal of this research is to provide a theoretical and practical framework that can be applied to the design of intervention programs for children and adolescents who may be at risk for adjustment problems.

Her current research examines:

  1. parenting and parent-child relations as predictors of preschool aggression and prosocial behaviour
  2. adolescent help-seeking for mental health problems
  3. the development and evaluation of a program designed to encourage help-seeking behaviour and
  4. identity development in immigrant youth.
