Now that you know who Alexander Hamilton is, it's time to read his most famous work, The Federalist Papers. Not only are the essays important to the establishment of the American federation, but they influenced Canadian federalism as well.

This semester we'll be holding a one-day session exploring the foundations of North American Federalism. In addition to the Federalist Papers, we'll also read the other side of the debate, What the Anti-Federalists were for.

Join us on February 9 from 10:00-3:00 where we have lively discussion, food, and, debate the founding of America.

Please sign up by January 15, so that you can get a copy of the books, and have them read in time for the meeting. The good news is that both books are short!
