Degree Audit (DARS)

Degree Audit or DARS is a part of Student Information System (SIS) that evaluates your progress towards fulfilling the graduation requirements for your program of study. DARS is run by signing into SIS then selecting the "Check Progress Towards Your Degree" option, which will evaluate your current program of study. You can also select the "Check Effect of Changing Your Major" option to run DARS for a different program of study that you are thinking of transferring into.

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and completeness of DARS, please note that DARS is only a tool you can use to check your progress towards your degree. It does not replace the need for academic advising, which you are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to seek through an Advisor in your major area of study.

The official graduation requirements are listed in the University of Windsor's on-line calendar. Any discrepancy between DARS and the official University calendar should be brought to the attention of the Office of the Registrar.

The wording and look of the DARS output was changed starting with the 2004 Fall calendar. At that time more explanatory text was added and the requirments were numbered to make the DARS evaluation easier to understand.

Two separate documents have been produced to explain in detail the information that appears in the DARS evaluation. While either document can be used, the first one is more appropriate for evaluations using the 2004 Fall or later calendars; the second document is more appropriate for evaluations using the 2004 Summer or earlier calendars.
