Part-time Student Application Instructions [1]
Part-time student applications are intended for:
- Undergraduate applicants who wish to take a maximum of three (3) courses at a time at the University of Windsor
- Visiting non-degree students who are applying to the University of Windsor on a Letter of Permission

Application Fees & Required Documents
All Applicants
- An undergraduate part-time studies application fee is required and must be paid online at the time of application. Please see the Registrarial Service Fees [2] for the current fee.
- An official transcript from your previous secondary school or an original certificate showing completion of secondary education, including grades obtained, is required. [e.g., Ontario Grade 12, British Columbia Grade 12, General Certificates of Education.]
- Official transcripts sent directly from any post-secondary institutions attended are required. [e.g., University, CAAT, CEGEP]. All applicants who have completed a course(s) at a recognized university or college will be evaluated for possible transfer credits.
- An additional evaluation of documents fee is required and must be paid online. Please see the Registrarial Service Fees [2] for the current fee. Non-degree applicants are exempt from this fee.
- For information about the documentation required for transfer credit evaluation and the process for submitting these documents, see the Guidelines for Submitting Course Outlines section on the Transfer Students page [3].
- For any applicant presenting documents issued under a prior name, an official certificate confirming a name change is also required.
- For any applicant applying as a visiting non-degree student, a Letter of Permission from the home university will be requested after UWindsor’s initial review of your application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to acquire this letter from the home university so please request it early.
Applicants applying under the Mature Student Policy
Many mature students choose to study on a part-time basis. If this is your plan, please complete the part-time application accessible below.
