May 2014 Research Newsletter

What's New?

In March 2014, the Office of Research Services officially became the Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS). The addition of “Innovation” to our name reflects our ongoing commitment to provide support that facilitates not only the creative and investigative research activities of University of Windsor faculty, students, and staff, but also the translation of the fruits of this knowledge and expertise to the wider community for the betterment of society as whole. Going forward, ORIS will expand on the broad range of services currently provided promoting the mobilization of academic research. Increased emphasis on fostering collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders from the community, government, and industry, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship will help ensure our success in achieving this goal.

During the fall of 2014, ORIS and Research Finance will relocate from Chrysler Hall Tower to the new Innovation Centre currently under construction. This move will consolidate research and innovation services in one location, facilitating enhanced service delivery to our internal and external clientele.
