The position of Resident Assistant requires an individual who is self-motivated, capable of functioning independently and within a group, possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills and is willing to commit his or her efforts to the enhancement of Residence Life. RA-A's have front line responsibility for facilitating and enhancing the well being of the residents by acting as a friend/mentor/mediator/resource person for the entire Residence community. - Student Conduct Board Members: As a baord member you will be responsible for listening to students in residence who are found in violation of the Community Standards and decide what sanctions should be placed on them. Keep in mind that the Residence System does not mirror the Criminal Justice System. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to be involved inlaw, education and/or social work.
