Macdonald Hall

 This ten-storey tower building is located in the heart of campus and faces  the grassy quad area. 

• home to first year students (Secondary and International coming directly from High School)
• majority of rooms are double occupancy
• a limited number of large single rooms available
• each floor has a microwave room (with small preparation space for cooking), four study rooms and two gender-specific washrooms in addition to a large common lounge equipped with cable TV
• the basement features a brand new movie theatre, laundry room, a large study space (Moose Mountain), outdoor patio with picnic tables, and bike/hockey equipment storage
• main lounge on the first floor features a ping pong table, a large screen TV with cable and computer stations in the lobby (with internet access) for student use
• front desk is open daily in the evening and vacuum cleaners, board games, movies, sports equipment, ping pong paddles, and other entertainment can be signed out by residents of the building.
• space under the beds in Mac is approximately 14 inches or 35.5 cm in height. (some beds in that are only 7 inches or 17.5 cm in height)
• full kitchen facilities located in the basement of building next to Moose Mountain
