Benefits of Living on the Nursing Theme Floor

 
What is the Nursing Floor?

A community of first year and beyond first year nursing students who live together on the same floor.  Peer mentors are beyond first year nursing students who are hired and trained to assist first year nursing students on the floor.  A Resident  Assistant (RA) is assigned to the nursing floor to oversee the community.
 

Live in Alumni Hall

Choose the nursing floor and you’ll be assigned to Alumni Hall with no academic requirement.
 

Discount for Nursing Students and all-in costs offers excellent value

Live in a single room suite in Alumni Hall at the cost of a traditional single.  Great value with no 12 month lease to deal with.  All inclusive and fully furnished accommodation plus convenient meal plans.

*Discount only available to nursing students assigned to the nursing floor in Alumni Hall.  Assignments are done on  first come, first serve basis. 

Nursing Lab Right Next Door

From stethoscope to diagnostic bed, nursing students in Alumni Hall can  practice diagnostic skills in the mini-nursing lab steps away from their residence room.

Added Support from Residence Team and Nursing Faculty

Beyond first year Nursing students will serve as peer mentors and the Nursing RA will have a close connection with the Faculty of Nursing.  Alumni Hall nursing students (on the nursing floor) are assigned to the same clinical placement making it easier to travel to and from the campus.
