The WUFA Status of Women, Diversity & Equity Action Committee is collecting donations for the Welcome Centre, Shelter for Women. At this time the Centre is in high demand for the following items: household cleaning products, Kleenex, Band-Aids, clothing (NEW socks and underwear ONLY, or gently used warm winter clothing, shoes, pyjamas), school snacks, juice boxes, peanut butter, bus tickets, canned fruit, diapers, feminine hygiene products, laundry detergent & pods, toilet paper, pregnancy tests, hair brushes, soap, shampoo/conditioner, new makeup, baby formula, and NEW/SEALED over-the-counter medications such as Advil, Tylenol, Pepto, and Gravol. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated - cheques can be made out to the "Welcome Centre".
Donations can be dropped off at the WUFA office until Friday, December 13, 2019. (Open weekdays between 9-4:00 p.m.)
