Rates for NMR Time
Fees for use of the NMR spectrometers by individuals in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor:
Routine samples/experiments run by trained users: No charge
Routine samples/experiments run by Facility Manager: $50/hour, min half/hour
Fees for use of the NMR spectrometers by individuals at the University of Windsor but outside of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry:
- During peak hours 9am-5pm
- 500 MHz: $30/hour
- 300Mhz: $25/hour
- Experiments run during the night 5pm-9am
- $20/hour to a maximum of $100
- Note that there will a minimum of 1 hour billed for each use
- There is an additional fee of $50/hour for the services of the NMR Facility Manager to set up, run and process experiments.
Fees for the use of the NMR spectrometers by organizations outside of the University is:
- During peak hours 9am-5pm
- For the 500MHz $50/hour
- For a 300 MHz $40/hour
- Experiments run during the night 5pm-9am
- $30/hour to a maximum of $160
- There is an additional fee of $50/hour for the services of the NMR Facility Manager to set up, run and process experiments.
- Note that there will a minimum of 1 hour billed for each use
- Also note that pilot studies, ie initial sample quality tests will be billed only nominal fees.
