The group, lead by associate professors Clinton Beckford and Andrew Allen, left today for a two-week trip to work with orphaned and vulnerable children at the Kititimo Child Centre in Singida, Tanzania. They took with them much needed clothing, school supplies and books for children aged five to seventeen.
They were so excited and we were just as excited to see them off on this incredible journey.
What a way to help others while learning a great deal about themselves.
Many of us wished we were going too.
Bon Voyage....looking forward to hearing your stories and seeing your pictures!

Wow, you guys will enjoy the beautiful country of Tanzania. But I am 100% sure the kids will enjoy it more, knowing there are people who care for them. Tanzania need more people like you who are willing to help without expecting anything in return.
