Dr. Datta to conclude Humanities Week with a public lecture - March 29, 2019

Dr. Datta will be presenting his Humanities Research Fellow 2018-19 Public Lecture entitled "Debating Sacrifice with Durkheim".  The lecture draws on research he has done for his book with Routledge entitled Durkheim on Religion.

The talk will take place at 6pm, Friday, March 29th downtown in the Performance Hall at the Armouries (University Avenue and Freedom Way) to conclude Humanities Week events at the University.


A Talk by Kathy M'Closkey - March 19, 2019

SAC invites you to join Dr. M'Closkey's talk on her forthcoming book, "Why the Navajo Blanket Became a Rug: Excavating the Lost Heritage of Globalization".  It will be on Tuesday, March 19th from 11:30am-12:30pm in Chrysler Hall South room 162.

Martina Cvajner gave a lecture on "Migration and the Sexual Order" on November 28th, 2017.

Gordon Laxer spoke about "How NAFTA Impedes Action on Climate Change" on October 31, 2017.
