Dr. John Edward Deukmedjian is an Associate Professor at the University of Windsor. He received his MA and PhD degrees from the University of Toronto, and his two BA degrees are from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Deukmedjian has published academically in the areas of Public Safety Interoperability, Intelligence, Community Policing, Police Management, and Restorative Justice. Through funding from the University of Windsor's Humanities and Social Science Research Grant programme, he is presently investigating the formation of knowledge and security networks between public safety agencies in Canada and the UK. Dr. Deukmedjian has also consulted on numerous projects, significantly as the national project director of the RCMP's five-year review of workplace Alternative Dispute Resolution.
