The Strategic Priority Fund (the Fund) was introduced as part of the 2009/10 Operating Budget, in response to a clear need to support the strategic allocation of resources and to provide dedicated funding to support the delivery of the University’s Strategic Plan. Especially in a time when budget constraints limit our ability to make positive changes in the university, it provides a way to fund initiatives that will allow the University to change and enhance its operations to meet its strategic objectives.
The Fund has already enabled a number of initiatives that are improving our curriculum, enhancing student experience, promoting research and building a basis for future developments in curriculum and all aspects of university operations.
The President has delegated the allocation of the Fund to the Officeof the Provost and Vice-President, Academic.
