March 29th, 2010 Redbull Crashed Ice

Just over a week ago,I went to Quebec City to watch my brother compete in Redbull Crashed Ice.  To see what the competition is like, google it.  Check out the main website and some of the Youtube videos.  This competition is world wide and Quebec City was the final destination for the competitors.  This was the second time my brother John was a racer in Crashed Ice and he improved immensely.  For a world wide event, John placed 66th we believe.  He was mere seconds away from making it to the final 64 competitors that raced on television.  John was one of the flag bearers for the opening ceremonies of the final night.  The track looked intense and terrifying. The people racing were given maps to the hospitals within the city beforehand.  I'm hoping that it was just as a joke.  Anyways, here is a picture from the weekend.  It is one of my favourites.

Thursday, March 25th, 2010 Are we there yet??

As of yesterday I no longer have any midterms. Is this a good thing? Yes and no. Yes, it is because I’m done my midterms! No, it’s not a good thing because that means finals are about 2 weeks away and the studying for those must begin. But the silver lining in this situation is that once finals are done... wait for it... wait for it... IT”S SUMMER TIME!! That can only mean one thing right? Summer time fun right? Wrong, students have to work to have money for the upcoming school year.

That’s right I’m on the prowl for a summer job and have yet to find what I’m looking for. Besides working this summer it will be a busy one. Socializing, volunteering and preparing for the coming school year will take up a lot of time. So many of my close friends went to different Universities or Colleges so this time we have together we must make the most of. Programs like Student Orienting Students and other places I volunteer at go throughout the summer months. And getting a house ready to live in for the school year takes a lot of work and shopping.

So as I begin to prepare for my upcoming finals which will take a lot of effort and possibly reduce my blogging frequency, I can’t help but day dream about the busy and exciting summer months to come.

March 18th, 2010 On the road again...

Yesterday was St. Patrick’s day and everyone and their mothers seemed to be celebrating on campus. Don’t take that too literally. My point is that this usually diverse campus was a sea of green. I loved watching everyone’s festivities as I couldn’t join in myself, although I did help with a few t-shirt slogans.

Why? You may ask. Why couldn’t I join in on the green beer drinking and Irish jigs? Why wasn’t I dressed as a lass from Ireland? Well folks this is why... I’m going to Quebec City for the weekend. Why am I going to Quebec City? To watch my brother compete in the Red Bull Crashed Ice race taking place there.

This competition is something of a cross between ice skating and ski-cross. It takes place on a downhill track that winds throughout Quebec City. The track starts at Château Frontenac and ends right by the river. Four people go down the track at a time and of course the first one down is the winner. So I’m going to wish my brother good luck and hope for the best. Next year I’m considering trying out and maybe getting to compete myself. It’s terrifying and exciting and an adrenaline junkies dream.

Check out my next blog for some pictures from the event or watch it on CBC after the double header hockey games on Saturday the 20th.

March 3rd, 2010 Students Orienting Students

http://www.uwindsor.ca/sos/

As a first year student at the University of Windsor one of first experiences is something called Head Start. This big event is attended by many, many first year students before they even are at the University for classes. Head Start is hosted and held by a student organization of upper years called Students Orienting Students, also known S.O.S.

Throughout the year S.O.S. volunteers are there for first year students and those who need guidance or advising help. There are even different groups that the volunteers are apart of like a charity/fundraising group and different committees like the Head Start committee which is in charge of putting on the Head Start orientation. Majority of all S.O.S. volunteers are involved with Welcome Week held the first week of classes in September. This week is filled with activities for new students to meet other new students in fun, safe and exciting atmospheres.

I have joined Students Orienting Students and am looking forward to this coming year a great deal. I plan to be a volunteer within the Advising Centre as S.O.S. volunteers can give 2 or more hours a week to the centre to help other students with a wide variety of problems, school related or not. So next year, if there are any new comers reading this, I hope to see you during Welcome Week at all of great events put on or throughout the year at the Advising Centre if you need any help. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself!!

March 2nd, 2010 Warmth...

The snow is melting. I'm okay with that. I've had enough of the cold. Not only have I had enough of the cold but I've had enough of the slush and water and the dirty looking, trampled snow. It's depressing. I've had enough stressful times and sad looking weather. The sun being out is a sign that things are picking up. The warmth and lovey-dovey feeling of spring is coming. Hopefully, this summer is a warm, dry one. Hopefully, I can get to a place that smells like the ocean. Oh, how I love that smell and that feeling.

Things are looking up right now. That's all because of the weather. It's amazing how that affects people so greatly.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'm going to be busy with various things, like the bi-weekly seminar for the BCN program and other volunteer work but I'm also going to be having fun. There are a couple of big basketball games this week. One for the men and one for the women. The girls' team will be playing on Wednesday, tomorrow, at 7pm against Western at the St. Denis Centre. The boys' play on Saturday night at 7pm against Lakehead University, also at the St. Denis Centre. Should be good and intense games! Can't wait for them.

There's only one month and about 2 weeks left of school for me. I'm almost done my first year of University. I can't believe how quickly life flies by.

February 28th, 2010 Happy Days Are Here Again

Since reading week ended a week ago I've had 3 midterms. Getting caught up in studying hasn't left me much else to do but I think it paid off. Spending hours and hours on the second floor of Leddy Library was worth it. I actually feel good about the midterms I had. Physics, Psychology and Chemistry. I feel good about those? That's impressive. Those courses are difficult. They take a lot of work and effort, a lot of time and a lot out of me. After last semester feeling good about my midterms probably means good things.

So I had those midterms and right after my final one on Saturday I had a few houses to view for next year. Luckily, my friends and I found the perfect house for us. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, clean, quiet area, safe and fairly large for four of us. I signed the lease today and have never been so excited for a school year to start. Living in residence has been a big change and living with so many strangers has been a bit draining emotionally. Residence is a good starting place but it's not for me. I did meet new people and made a few very good friends by living here, but it can be a difficult experience. Having the privacy of my own house with good friends seems quite ideal now.

Well readers, I'm off. I have to review some notes before the big game tonight! Canada versus the USA. Go Canada go!

February 15th, 2010 Family Day...

Even though I am home this week I have to study like crazy. I mean it IS called reading week for a reason. Physics, psych and chemistry midterms when I return back to school. I'm going to go now though. Time to start studying again.
If anything new and exciting comes up I will keep my readers updated!
January 31st, 2010 Waking up in Vegas...

There isn't much to say today. So far this weekend I've celebrated my brother's 23rd birthday and Valentine's day. Received a beautiful bouquet of roses from my boyfriend. I love long stemmed roses so much. They are gorgeous.
Here I am sitting on my couch at home. Lovely. Being home is fantastic. It's a great break from the chaotic life of a University student.

On Friday was the residence formal held by the WIRC (Windsor Inter Residence Council). The food was amazing, the drinks were pouring (for those who are of age!) and the music was loud. People were looking fabulous and busting a move out on the dance floor. The theme was called “Waking up in Vegas” and they decorated accordingly. The back drop for the pictures was fantastic. My favourite picture of the night is of my boyfriend and I in front of it. Well done WIRC and readers if you get the chance, go to your formal even if you didn't go to events like this in high school.

Now I have to admit I haven't been feeling too well lately. So I've gotten behind on a whole bunch of things. Sadly enough, my blogging was one of those things. But I do have good news. I have found out that the Doctor's office here on campus is really quiet nice. If you aren't feeling well that is the number one place to go. It's located upstairs of the CAW Center. That's the main student center on campus for those who haven't had the privilege of visiting yet.

Something I did though that is note worthy is that I had my first downtown experience. A few of my friends have their birthday within a week of one another so they rented a hotel room and we had a lovely night. A few tips for planning a night like this:

1) Budget. This applies to money and how much you drink. Budget how much money you are willing to spend during the night and keep it in a safe place. This way you know how much money you will be spending and it will be easier to keep track of what you spend through out the night.

Budgeting how much drink is very important. If you know you cannot handle alcohol very well then pay attention to how much you are drinking. Actually, you should always pay attention to how much you are drinking. There is a fine line between having a good time and forgetting the night. You don't want to cross that line. Just know your limits and stay within them. Sounds so cliché but it's so true.

2) Know where you are going. Know the names of the bars or clubs you are going to. Most of them are along the same road but getting lost downtown could be terrifying depending on your state of mind and if you are local or not.

3) Go in a group. Go in a group if you are a guy. Go in a group if you are a girl. Go with at least one other person if you are meeting up with a bigger group. Just have some kind of buddy system. If you don't this could lead to above mentioned “getting lost” or worse. Downtown can be a dangerous place if you're not careful but it can be a LOT of fun if you are.

4) Be aware. Be aware of the people around you and be aware of your things. Losing a friend or your I.D. Can lead to a terrible night.

5) Have a plan. Knowing the general plan of the night is a good thing. Being prepared is a good thing. Never underestimate this. A few things to help being prepared is: tucking away money for cabs that cannot be spent on drinks, adding the phone number of the Windsor taxi you want to use into your phone before hand and wear the most comfortable shoes possible. If you don't do that last one, your feet will never forgive you. As I now know.

 January 22nd, 2010 I wonder what's going on...

So today was interesting. I went home last night to go to a doctor's appointment and got back early this morning. I napped. I got up for class. As I was walking over to my class (yes, I am one of those few lucky students with classes on Fridays), I see a strange sight. There are people being evacuated from Essex Hall. For those who don't know what Essex Hall is, it is the building that the science labs are in. There was also a fire truck at the main doors. I haven't heard what happened to cause this scene but I hope everything and everyone is okay.

The interesting-ness of today didn't end there. While in my class my friend received a text from a friend of hers. The engineers had plans for today. Streaking seems to be their right of passage. Oh what a sight it must've been. From my understanding there were to be a few of them doing that today. I didn't see it happen today but I did hear giggles outside of my classroom. I think there must have been a few people with a pretty good view. That's okay though, I saw one earlier this year. Good ol'University.

Other then that today has been quiet. I've gotten quite a bit done for my statistics course. Hurray! This week has been long though. Classes are still slow which concerns me greatly. Midterms are in full swing under 5 weeks that means things are going to be piled on in my courses really, really soon. It's like waiting for a bomb to explode. I know it's coming. I just don't know when. Guess I'll just have to be ready for it.

Update you soon readers, I've got to get back to homework.

January 14th, 2010 Already stressed?

So this is the first full week of school being back in session since the new year began. I'm already stressed out, funny how quickly that happens. Just looking at my courses syllabi I am very concerned about how much I will be learning in this short period of time. I have my first midterm in just over four weeks from now. Sure that may seem like a lot but new material will be taught until the class before the midterm. That's what makes things so tricky here at University. You aren't learning material to be covered on a test weeks in advanced but potentially the week of. So do you know what that means? That means I'm already making study notes after having learned from last semester the earlier you begin to study the better you'll do and less stressed you'll be overall.

Thanks for being my test drive, so to speak, first semester. You've taught me more then you even know.

Other then the fact that school happens quickly I am realizing life happens quite quickly too. It seems like everyone around me has either applied to be a Resident Assistant, deposited money for residence for next year or are looking for a house already. I have also began my search. I am putting a deposit in for residence in case my off-campus housing plans fall through but I am on the prowl for that magical first student house. You know, the one that house with all the utilities, multiple bedrooms and within a 5 minute walking distance to campus all for a low, low rental price. Keep your fingers crossed that this will all work out.

It's not that I don't want to live on campus even. I would just like to live with my brother if possible. That's not possible on campus. But believe me I plan on being involved on campus still. Hopefully with multiple volunteering positions. And of course going to basketball games to cheer on the Lancers. Oh and for the readers out there, Windsor beat Western at the men's game I saw on the 6th. Can you say ballin'?

I'll give you another update on life here at Uwindsor soon enough readers. I have to go and catch up on some readings that I left for tonight. Let's hope the television doesn't become to much of a distraction!

January 6th, 2010 A new year, a new start...

So I'm sitting here back in residence. Thinking of something to do before classes start and I realized I hadn't blogged over the break. And what a break it was! Actually getting to do NOTHING for once was fantastic. Just visiting with family, eating and socializing. It was wonderful. But I am actually looking forward to classes, weird right?

Most people don't look forward to getting back to work but I am this time. Why you may ask? Well my first semester didn't go as well as I was hoping and that's something I really can't stand for. So, this semester is my chance for redemption and I'm going to make the most of it. I always hear that the first semester of post-secondary school is the most difficult. I know this is true now. Everything you thought you knew in high school doesn't apply here. For the most part. I don't mean that in a negative way I just mean that it REALLY is a huge adjustment. University requires real work and real effort. If proper study habits hadn't been developed in high school, university is difficult. Luckily there are places and people here on campus that offer help and support.

Don't get me wrong though. During the Holiday break I wasn't just waiting to get back here. I was enjoying myself and my laziness. But there is only so long you can play video games, watch television and sleep for before you go a little bit nutty. So being back here is really nice. And oddly enough, I actually missed my residence bed, I find it extremely soft.

This semester I have new professors, my boyfriend has moved into residence, I just turned 19 and I will be trying to pull my grades way up. Stick around this semester readers to find out how things go. I know I can't wait to find out!

Wednesday, December 15th, 2009 So, so tired...

Oh how time flies. I hadn't realized already a month had gone by since I last blogged but that's what happens when you're sucked into the vortex that is university. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, there is always work that must be done. I know when my roommate is away for a night I can end up staying up till all hours just studying or doing problems or procrastinating just because I'm unaware of what time it is. Eventually it does catch up to you though.

I've come home for the week in between my exams to catch up on studying and sleeping that I tend to keep putting off. So far I've been catching up on sleep more then anything. Sleep is a wonderful thing and, oh, I've missed it so. That's something that really must be remembered when living at university, sleep is a top priority. If you don't sleep you can end up becoming ill. I've been pretty lucky so far.

One of the reasons why I haven't been sleeping like I should is because of exams. Nerves are a problem and having to get everything from the semester to stick in my head is another problem. I find different ways to calm down. One of those ways is Pilates. Exercising actually does help to relax people, weird eh? Another way I relax is by watching The Office. It's nice knowing that those characters are crazier then I am. But back to those exams. They haven't been as bad I was expecting. Sure, calculus was harder then what I thought it would be but it still wasn't THAT bad. Surprisingly neither was physics. It had it's difficult parts but it really wasn't THAT bad. I guess studying actually helps people to pass, weird eh?

I know though that once I'm done my final exam on the 21st I am going to be smiling from ear to ear because real relaxation can begin. My friends are having a Christmas gathering the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are looking promising with all the events happening at home and New Years Eve is just around the corner from that. Oh joyous time to be done and not worrying about school.

For now, I do have to worry about school. I must get back to the studying. Two exams down, three to go.

I'll let everyone out there know how they go!

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 EW! GERMS!

So this past weekend I was sick. No worries, not the H1N1 virus. Just a chest cold and it only lasted about 4 days. Thank goodness for making good note taking friends in my classes. I could have been in some trouble there. I don't advocate missing class but I do think if you've got something stay out of class. The chairs are close together, there isn't much elbow room, if someone sneezes we all feel it. Best to rest.

But being sick and all meant going home for the weekend so I missed some pretty exciting events, like the campus wide manhunt and the basketball season opener games. I did get to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs beat (surprisingly) the Detroit Red Wings. Overall it was a calm weekend.

During the week though I had classes like usual. With my program, Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience, there is a lot of school work. That's part of the reason why these blogs are few and spread apart. I'm just saying, school is a big commitment at the University level. More so then high school. Many people I've talked to that would get extraordinary grades in high school are struggling to pull of passing marks here. A lot of the problem is they just don't know how to study. So I deicded to look at a few websites myself, because, well, I am one of those guilty people. Here are a few I found extremely helpful:

http://www.how-to-study.com/study-skills/en/studying/98/improving-concentration/

http://www.how-to-study.com/study-skills/en/studying/39/the-ten-study-habits-of-successful-students/

http://www.how-to-study.com/study-skills/en/studying/34/managing-your-study-time/

http://www.how-to-study.com/study-skills/en/studying/36/procrastination/

http://www.studygs.net/

Those are just a few websites and of course the University offers many helpful programs. Like the University of Windsor S.T.E.P.S. (skills to enhance personal success) program is very helpful to develop different skills used when studying or test taking.

But for now I have to go study for my physics midterm tomorrow. I've been procrastinating long enough.

Good-bye for now Internet world.

October 29th, 2009 STOP HAMMER TIME!

I can't stop playing music now. Why is that? Because I am done my midterms until the second round in November!! I can't explain my excitement. Finally some time to not worry. Of course I have to keep up with my classes but I don't need to cram every bit of information from the text book and lectures into my head. I get to relax!

So blog this was pretty much an uneventful 2 weeks. I had my midterms and I studied and that was about it. I spent a lot of time at Leddy Library again. My room, well my side of my room, became a disaster zone. There were notes everywhere from every subject scattered about. I'm comfortable with chaos. But my roomie I know will be relieved to see I've cleaned up everything.

So, Saturday is Halloween. I have my costume, a wizard, very similar to that of a Harry Potter costume. I'm so excited for this weekend! The big weekend to finally have some fun and no longer worry. People have carved jack-o-lanterns and put them in their rooms. Others are watching horror movies every night. Halloween is in the air. But I think I am the most excited for next Friday, November 6th. There will a campus wide manhunt taking place at 7pm. Manhunt has always been a favourite of mine. Coming from the country we would play in miniature forests in the backyards of my friends' homes. November is going to be an exciting month!
I'll be better about my blogging in November I promise. Without the stress and time requirement of midterms I'll be able to get on here more often. I'll also have more exciting things to talk about! Keep an eye out for those blogs!

Sunday, October 18th, 2009 Next time I see turkey it better be Christmas...

So readers, whoever you maybe, it's been a while. That's my fault I got caught up in life. But here are the dets that you've missed.

October 4th was the Walk for a Cure here in Windsor. My boyfriend and I raised a combined $350. Thanks to everyone that donated and to everyone that participated! It was a wonderful day for the walk.

That week though I had my first midterm and spent a lot of time at Leddy Library. Good ol' Leddy. The midterm was Physics so I focused on studying until the morning of the midterm. It was an intense 45 minutes but I believe I passed. I think I passed. I hope I passed. I'm happy if I've passed.

That weekend was Thanksgiving weekend though. I ended up going home Friday night only to come back to campus Saturday and Sunday night for my nice cushy campus job. Sunday was my family's dinner. I ate like I hadn't had food since school started. I have had food, just home cooking is SO much better... Well, my mom's cooking is... Anyways, Monday was filled with Thanksgiving turkey dinner as well. Big family event at my boyfriend's grandparents place. It was AMAZING. But the rest of the week meant leftover turkey meals. This came in various forms such as turkey pot pie, homemade turkey pizza and turkey tetrizini. We ran out of turkey on Friday. I was thankful for that.

I wasn't able to make in for any of the activities or seminars for U Win week but I have only heard good things. Kind of regret it actually. Probably would have helped to understand some of my classes better. I'll probably regret it more after I get my midterm marks back.

So blog it's off to hit the books and study some more. I'll try to be more productive this time though. Biology midterm is coming up really fast...

OH and for the readers on campus on Tuesday the 20th go to the CAW center. In front of the Tim Horton's and Information Desk the BCNSA is having a bake sale!! Go and enjoy it and buy the cupcakes!! I made them!!

September 30th, 2009 Run for the Cure...

On Sunday, October 4th, I will be joining CIBC's Run for the Cure. It is a charity fund raiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. I, like many other people, have someone in my family and friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I don't know anyone who has passed away from this illness yet and I would like to keep it that way. By raising money for this charity we are helping to fund research for treatments, ways for those diagnosed to beat the cancer sooner or live comfortably if that's not possible and for educational awareness programs to run. So readers I guess what I'm trying to say is that we should all be aware of this and do what we can for others. If you want to know more about the run visit this website: https://www.cibcrunforthecure.com/html/login.asp?languageid=1

As well, if you would like to make a donation and be one of my sponsors you can contact me atjulia.blogger@hotmail.com ">julia.blogger@hotmail.com for details about doing so. I know it is late notice but every bit helps and you can get a tax receipt.

You can also email me anytime about my blog or if you have questions at that address.

September 27rd, 2009 “They call me Stacy...”

Actually no, they don't. I was just listening to The Ting-tings song, “That's not my name”. Catchy tune. Gets stuck in my head quite often.

Anyways, this week was rough. I'll start from the beginning. On Monday I believe I failed a physics lab assignment. I believe this because I, along with majority of my section, finished only two of the assigned questions. There were four questions, we had two hours, it was brutal. On Tuesday I had to run across campus to make it to my lab on time because my brothers came to visit me. On Wednesday my chemistry lab partner and I finished our lab early then had to wait 45 minutes for every other group to finish so we could answer the final question. Thursday night was nuts in my residence. Majority of the students don't have class on Friday so the weekend partying started early. Too bad I have tests on Fridays. Also, I could hear the person in the room next to mine start throwing up at 1:30 am, for a solid hour. On Friday I actually woke up pretty early considering my lack of sleep. I ended up finishing my test in about 5 minutes and I feel I did well. Hope I did well actually. And then this weekend I spent time at home to celebrate my oldest brothers birthday.

The classes are starting to become more and more intense though. More to learn and less time to learn it. So blog, I'm off to go read more. What am I reading? Well, my biology text book seems like a good place to start today...

September 18th, 2009 WHOA.... here it comes...

Assignments? Tests? Labs? Midterms? EXAMS? They are worth HOW MUCH?? Whoa... whoa... whoa... OMG.

That is pretty much what's been going through my head this week. To elaborate, as an example of one of my classes, calculus, since that is the syllabus sitting in front of me now, the mark break down is as follows: 5 quizzes are worth 10%, my midterms, that's right midterms, meaning two of them, are worth 20% each and my final exam comes to a whopping 50% of my final grade. Can you say pressure much? My other classes are similar breakdowns with labs thrown in there or participation marks which come from use of the lovely remote type thing called a clicker. I keep mine in a stylish orange case. It actually is really handy for finding in those oversized bags. Anyways, things are pretty overwhelming but I am learning how to handle it by doing the following things:

1) Clean. It may sound like the worst idea ever but once you know those germs festering in your dorm room and the things growing on your shower floor are dead and gone studying and focusing become much easier. Serious.

2) Stop accessing the internet. Reading mylifeisaverage.com only twice a day frees up so much time. Once in the morning and once at night. Creep facebook only once a day as well. Night is the best. Gives people time to update their seemingly much more interesting lives.

3) Make a list of what you need to get done. Include when. Give yourself time to do it.

4) Call people who support you. This gives you that warm fuzzy feeling and will help you get through whatever tasks you have left to do.

5) Dance it out. When no one is around. To loud music. Sing a long if necessary.

6) Doing something mindless. Watch a movie or tv. Go for a walk. Do yoga. Something that takes no real brain power. But only go at it for an hour or else you'll never get back into the groove of working.

7) Eat. Not cake, although my boyfriend did bake me a cake, but an orange. I love oranges. Or a banana, or grapes, or kiwi. Eat a fruit, it will give you a boost of sugar but in the best way possible. Plus it can give you a break from your work to prep it. Like pealing the orange or banana or washing the grapes. Bonus.

My tips of handling that overwhelming feeling may not work for everyone. But they work for me so why not try?

P.S.- The football game last Saturday was a good one to watch. Lancers won! Woot woot!

September 11th, 2009 This is just the beginning...

So, this is it. The first week of living away from home down and... the rest of my life to go. What a horrifying thought. Kind of.

I went to so many of the Windsor Welcome Week events that missing home wasn't on my mind that often. But the events did have their ups and their downs. The ups were definitely the Adrenaline Rush, the Residence Rally (Can you hear the Clovers rumble?), the Single and Sexy play and the Welcome Convocation Ceremony from my perspective. The downs were the whole only being 18 thing and unable to drink at the student pub, where many of the events that had great potential occurred, like the Graffiti Party, Dirty Bingo and the Toonie Toga Party. I still went for a while to check them out but being 19 would have made a huge difference. Ah, shucks, there's always next year.

My roomie and I get along really well. The only problem is she gets homesick and I don't. But her family is 4 hours away when mine is only 40 minutes down the road and my boyfriend has already come to visit me once. I feel for her but she left last night to get a weekend family booster. So as of now I'm on my own but tomorrow my brother, who commutes and is finishing off his final semester, will be visiting me. We have plans to visit Devonshire Mall and watch the football game. I'm looking forward to the game especially, it will be the first football I have ever attended. My high school wasn't big on the whole sports thing which was a complete shame!

Oh yeah, classes also started this week. So far, so good. The only class I foresee problems occurring in is Physics. Wish me luck, whoever may be reading this! But with cell biology with a lab, physics with a lab, chemistry with a lab, calculus and psychology my blogs might be few and not nearly as meaty as I would like. But I promise readers, once a week I will get one up for sure.

So, this is it. The first week of living away from home. It sure is different.

Other then that, today has been quiet.
