BSW in Social Work and Women's Studies (Honours)

The Social Work and Women’s Studies program can lead to careers in child and youth protection services, women’s shelters, sexual assault treatment centres, community development agencies, hospitals, correctional services and schools.

Program Description
Our Social Work and Women’s Studies program is unique in North America. We focus on social justice in its broadest sense. You will learn how race, social class, religion, and sexuality impact on the practice of Social Work.
You will also learn the specialized knowledge and skills needed to make a positive difference in the lives of others. In your fourth year, you will apply what you have learned in a local human service agency.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Admission Average: 70%


Mean Admission Average: 81%
