Lancer Soccer Summer Camp

The camps will focus on sport specific drills such as shooting, passing, ball control, defensive techniques and strategy. Rules and team concepts will be reinforced through camp league. These leagues are organized according to age, sex, and overall ability. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and a soccer ball and also will have the opportunity to swim during the camp.

Introductory - will focus on basic soccer skills, passing and receiving, ball control, and seven-a-side rules and positioning. All players will have the benefit of Varsity players showing them the skills needed to develop in soccer

High Performance - will include all aspects of the 11 a-side game. With emphasis on technique, skill, and strategy. Through the use of small sided games, this will bring out the best in all the players. Conditioning drills will be included for the older players, highlighting speed and control.

Goalkeeping - Varsity Coach Steve Vagnini, will be assisting with the Goalkeepers. The teaching of basic Goalkeeping techniques, plus a more advanced level format for older players. This will include: ball handling, distribution, positioning, working on angles and shot stopping.
