Academic Dates:
The following includes the academic dates for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

September 1Labour Day (Statutory holiday)

September 2-3 “Windsor Welcome” orientation days.

September 2-4Orientation for Faculty of Education.

September 2 Registration for First Year Law students. Classes begin in Second and Third Year Law.

September 3Orientation for 2nd year Social Work students with a previous degree.

September 3-5Orientation for First Year Law

September 4 All classes begin, day and evening, except Law and Education.

September 4 Orientation for returning (final year) Social Work students.

September 8Classes begin in First Year Law and Education.

September 8 and 10Orientation of all Social Work students newly admitted to the professional year of the Social Work program

September 9 Field Work begins for returning (final year) Social Work students.

September 15Field Work begins for Social Work students newly admitted to the professional years of the Social work program.

September 16Last day for course changes in Law.

September 17Last day for late registration and change of course for Fall term, day and evening, except Law. Last day for full tuition refund.

September 30Last day for reversal of incidental fees for course withdrawal.

October 1Last day for the oral defense of dissertations, theses and major papers for Fall Convocation (graduate degrees).

October 10Last day to ADD a course (except Law and consecutive Education)

October 13Thanksgiving Day (statutory holiday). No classes.

October 24 (12:00 noon)Last day to deposit dissertations, theses and major papers for Fall Convocation (graduate degrees). Last day for completion of all requirements for graduate degrees under Phase I.

October 25Fall Convocation.

November 14Last day for completion of all requirements for graduate degrees under Phase II.

November 14UNIVERSITY DAY: OPEN HOUSE (except Law and Education)
Labs, tutorials take place as scheduled. Nursing clinical courses take place as scheduled.

November 26Last day to voluntarily withdraw from Fall term courses. After this date students remain registered in courses and receive final grades as appropriate.

December 5Last day of classes, Law.

December 8Examinations begin in Law

December 12Last day that classes may be held, day and evening, except Law and Consecutive Education.

December 15-22Fall term final examinations except Law and Consecutive Bachelor of Education.

December 15Winter term fees are due and payable.

December 23Alternate Final Examinations

December 24 to 31University offices closed for December Holiday recess.
