University Players has a reputation for producing high quality productions, with talented up-and-coming student actors, and our beautiful and innovative set, costume, and lighting designs. Of course, it is expensive to mount these memorable productions. University Players, which operates as a self-sustained theatre company within a University context, depends upon revenue both from ticket sales and donations, from people like you.

There are a variety of ways to support University Players. Many choose to give through a membership donation, which directly support our productions while putting you closer to the action with some special benefits.

In 2003, comfortable and new seats were installed in Essex Hall Theatre. However, you can still participate in the Buy A Seat campaign, which supported the installation. Donors to this campaign "buy a seat" and have their name etched onto the seat of their choice in perpetuity.

Additional opportunities

$1 from the sale of most tickets goes toward the Production Endowment Fund, which helps to ensure the long-term continuation of our productions and quality education for our students. However, you can choose to make an additional donation to the endowment fund.

Additionally, you or your company could choose to sponsor a production. This opportunity comes at a reasonable rate, and has many exclusive benefits such as logo recognition, advertising, and complimentary tickets to a performance.
