Ultimaker -- 3D Printer

3D Print Lab - Research - Design - Create

3D Print Lab

The 3D Print Lab is a space to explore the use of 3D printing in relationship to traditional ways of making, crossing disciplinary boundaries and looking to new understandings.

Located in the Alan Wildeman Centre for Creative Arts, the Lab is also available to students and faculty across the university campus as a fee for service 3D print facility. The Lab features two Ultimaker printers (2x & 3x), a MakerBot Replicator2, a Next Engine 3D desktop scanner and a handheld Ein Scan Pro X2 portable 3D scanner, as well as PC and Mac based computing. Build accurate, stable 3D models in PLA and ABS plastics. Our facility is excellent for realizing 3D prototypes for Product Design, Architecture, Sculpture and Engineering.

Lab hours by appointment.
