Rose City Variations (2008)
Noiseborder Ensemble

Rose City Variations is a multimedia work incorporating pre-recorded Windsor sound- and video-scapes as well as improvised music. The first performance in February 2008 featured soundscapes by Brent Lee, video by Sigi Torinus, music by the Electric Improv Lab with guests Garth Rennie and Andrew Staniland; the piece was reprised at the University of Guelph in April 2008. Our collaboration on Rose City Variations led to the launch of the Noiseborder Ensemble later that year.
