PhD–Biochemistry, Master of Science–Biochemistry, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology
Founding director of the University of Windsor's Health Research Group, Mutus has published widely in his area of chemistry for health sciences. He has served as university delegate to the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, associate dean of science for research and graduate studies, and as research director of the Cardiology and Atherosclerosis Research Group. He has twice won scholarship and research excellence awards from the university.
