NEW!

In Fall 2021, nine students of Women’s and Gender Studies will each receive $1,000 scholarships. The program is launching eight entrance scholarships and one new internal transfer scholarship to support new students.  


Courses you should take Fall 2021

Women's and Gender Studies

  1. GART-1500: Effective Writing I (several sections offered)
  2. WGST-1000:  Women in Canadian Society 
  3. WGST-1200:  Gal Pals:  Women and Friendship AND/OR WGST-1300: Imagining Women
  4. 1 elective from Arts or Social Science - if you take 4 courses
  5. 1 elective from Arts or Social Science - if you take 5 courses

Social Work and Women's Studies

  2. SWRK-1170:  Meeting Human Needs through Social Welfare
  3. WGST-1000:  Women in Canadian Society

  5. 1 elective from Arts or Social Science - if you take 5 courses
