The International Students’ Orientation is designed to help International Students get acquainted with the important services and resources necessary to begin their university life. It aims to help students with the transition into the Canadian culture and to build an understanding with the facilities that are available.
The first day of Orientation includes an introduction speech by the President, Vice Provost and Director of Student Development and Support followed by presentations by International Student Advisor, ISS, Campus Police and much more

An information session will be held for the parents of all 2011–2012 residence students. Before your parents head home, make sure they drop by to have all of their last minute questions answered and enjoy some complimentary nibbles from Food Services. Representatives from Residence & Food Services, Student Development and Support and the UWSA will be on hand to answer all questions. After camp check-out on Monday, refuel with a UWSA pancake breakfast and head out to the Lancer Tailgate party! Enjoy some free food before our Windsor Lancers take on the Toronto Blues in our first game of the year! Make sure to wear your Lancer colours and be ready to make some noise! After a hopeful Lancer victory, run over to Fraser’s Mind  Comedy Show in the Quad for an awesome twist on hypnosis, or head back to The Thirsty Scholar for another pub event! .

After Harlan's presentation, join us in the pub.  Each first year student will be given a plain white t-shirt and a marker so that you can sign each others' shirts.  At the end of the night, everyone will have t-shirts to take home that have been signed by all their new friends from UWindsor.  It's better than the Facebook wall!  This is an all ages event so come out and check out your student publ.  T-shirts are limited, so arrive early.
