The faculty of Engineering has a special program for first year Engineering Students. We offer the USA Program through the WINONE Office. This program connects upper year University of Windsor Engineering students with First year University of Windsor Engineering students to assist with academic and program concerns. Even more importantly, it gives you a change as a First Year student to find out more about what life is like in Years 2, 3 and 4 of the various Engineering programs that we have.
This a FREE SERVICE and the hours and information about these sessions will be available during your first week of classes (this information is posted on the WINONE Office Website). Please take advantage of this valuable learning tool!
The USA program is an undergraduate educations part time support position where upper year engineering student can apply to be an advisor to the first and second year students of engineering and assist with their course questions and concerns. Students must be knowledgeable about the background and needs of Windsor Engineering Students. The position is a part time position within the Faculty of Engineering reporting to the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and supporting the general activities of the Office of the Dean of Engineering. We look for solid academic performers who are senior undergraduate students in engineering who are from our own program.
