BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION

Engineering at the University of Windsor is definitely a challenge. You may find yourself in a difficult position not being able to keep up with your studies and grades. Many students need to develop a new set of academic study skills appropriate for University level work. That is where the WINONE Office for First Year University Students comes in.

We are here to assist you as you make the transition into a new and very demanding environment. Our goal with WINONE is to help you make informed decisions during your first year at Windsor Engineering.

Tools offered by WINONE to Help YOU Succeed

  1. Undergraduate Student Advisors (USA) Program
The Faculty of Engineering has established an in-Faculty support program to assist first year students with the academic and professional challenges they may face entering into engineering. This is a FREE service to our first year students. Please visit the WINONE office for session schedules.
  2. Help Sessions
Take advantage of the 'help" sessions that professors and teaching assistants offer in each class. Sometimes first year students feel to shy to approach them!
    Go ahead, they don't bite.
