Application Deadlines

Summer

• Employer applications happen in mid-April
• Student applications happen during the first week of classes in May
• All hiring decissions should be complete by June 15th
• Last working day = last day of classes in August unless the student is only taking a 6 week class*

* For example: a student registered only for intersession (6 weeks - May & June) will not be approved to work in July.  The last day the student can work will therefore need to be modified accordingly

Fall (1 semester only)

• Employer applications happen in mid-August
• Student applications happen during the first week of classes in September
• All hiring decissions should be complete by October 1st
• Last working day = last day of classes in December

Academic Year (Fall & Winter semesters)

• Employer applications happen in mid-August
• Student applications happen during the first week of classes in September
• All hiring decissions should be complete by October 1st
• Last working day = last day of classes in April

Please Note:

• During the academic year (fall & winter semesters) jobs that are for 1 semester only will have a reduced number of hours compared to a positions that are for the academic year (Sept. to April).

• During the academic year students must be registered in full-time classes while employed under the WISE program.

• During the summer students must be registered in at least one (1) class during the time period in which they are working.
