Help sustain the Distinguished Visitor in Women's Studies program

The Distinguished Visitor in Women's Studies program is supported through fund-raising.  When you join our 250 for $250 campaign your contribution of $250 per year (tax-deductible) helps us cover the honorarium and travel expenses of our Visitors.  250 supporters contributing $250 each will sustain this unique program.

The Distinguished Visitor program is a week-long series of events.  Most are free and open to the public.  The exception is the Distinguished Visitor Community Dinner which costs $60 ($15 for students).  Because students are subsidized, the revenue for this event simply covers our costs.

In appreciation of your fully tax-deductible gift, Women’s Studies will:

• Recognize your support in the printed program for the Community Dinner
• Invite you to annual Up Close and Personal Reception with the Distinguished Visitor
• Give you advance notice of the Distinguished Visitor's schedule
• Send you Between Friends, the Women's Studies bi-annual newsletter
• Participate in selecting future Distinguished Visitors
• Send you invitations to Women's Studies events and feminist research seminars on campus
