Michael Bennett is starting to set a new standard for end-of-life care. As coordinator of psychosocial services for the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, Michael leads a team of social workers who support the psychological and social needs of people living with life-altering diagnoses, and their loved ones. A UWindsor MSW graduate, Michael is a member of Cancer Care Ontario’s Board of Directors and the founder and principal of Oneday Dreams, a national charity that helps adults in their final year of life fulfil meaningful dreams. Since 2016, Michael’s compassionate, skillful work has earned him awards from Cancer Care Ontario, the United Way, and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
