Funke Aladejebi interrogates and exposes students to vital stories from diverse communities of people. An Assistant Professor at the University of New Brunswick, Funke approaches the subject of education from a decolonial framework, seeking to highlight the experiences of racial minorities and women within educational institutions. She teaches courses in Gender and Women’s Studies and History. Funke has won dissertation prizes from the Canadian History of Education Association and the Centre for Feminist Research at York University. At UWindsor, she built the foundations for a productive academic career in critical investigation and differentiated instruction..
