University of Windsor Alumni Mental Wellness series
In partnership with the department of Human Resources, the Alumni Association is pleased to offer a new Mental Wellness series. We have joined with the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association to host three, one-hour webinars. They will be delivered by Alumna Jenny-Lee Almeida BA ’05, ’07 a mental health educator, facilitator and trainer.

Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment. Mindfulness takes practice and effort. This session will provide an overview of the concepts of mindfulness theory to promote personal wellbeing and practical techniques to reduce “mental clutter”, stay focused, and be attentive in-the-moment.
