Our Mission
Our mission is to facilitate a safe, representative, and inclusive academic environment where we actively and continuously strive towards teaching, learning, and social participatory experiences that foster voice and a sense of belonging for all faculty, students, and staff in the Odette School of Business.

- Permanent staff representation on decanal search committees within Odette and across the entire University
- Creation of an AACSB Assurance of Learning competency related to EDI
- Introduction of a new staff appreciation award
- Invited guest speaker Dr. Stephanie Creary, Assistant Professor of Management at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, to hold a workshop on the topic of Evidence-Based Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
- Hosted a Black History Month event at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum
- Hosted a training session on the DEAP tool
