2022 Education Career Fair (Virtual/Online) - Exhibitor Registration

Registration for the 2022 Education Career Fair is now open!

CDEL in collaboration with the Faculty of Education has turned our annual Education Career Fair virtual! Schools and school boards with employment opportunities will be join us online to promote their full-time, part-time, and occasional teaching opportunities.

The format of event this year will be virtual due to the circumstances regarding COVID-19. Rather than hosting the event on a Blackboard website like we did last year, exhibitors are encouraged to facilitate an information session and Q&A period using their own platforms (ex. Zoom, Google Meet, Teams). Using your own platform will allow for more flexibility and allow you to manage your own registration and student information (ex. email addresses). If using your own platform is not viable, CDEL can set up a session for you upon request on Microsoft Teams.

All sessions will be advertised and posted on our mySuccess Events Calendar for Faculty of Education students to register.

Event Information:

Friday, January 14, 2022 – Local School Board Opportunities

  • Open to local public, Catholic, and French School Boards in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Sarnia-Lambton

Friday, February 4, 2022 – Canadian Teaching Opportunities – register here

  • Open to Canadian School Boards, Canadian School, and Canadian Private School - FREE!

Location: Online. Exhibitors are encouraged to use their own platform to host their session (ex. Google Meet, Zoom), but can request CDEL to set up a session for them on Microsoft Teams if they do not have a platform. Exhibitors who will be using their own platform will be asked to provide a link to their session in the survey and/or instructions for registering for their session. CDEL will post each session on our mySuccess platform for students to register.

Time: Concurrent 30 minute sessions held between 9:00am – 3:00pm. You may present for longer, but please be aware that since sessions start every 30 minutes, you may lose a part of your audience.

*Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis - at time of registration, select only 1 session per board/school.

Job Posting/Application Collection (optional):

You will have the option to post a job and collect resumes/applications on CDELs posting platform, mySuccess, before, during, and after the event. Should you choose this option, an application package will be sent to you by CDEL to simplify the resume collection process.

International Schools and Agencies

Unfortunately, we will not be hosting a fair for international schools or agencies this year. However, we are happy to promote any information sessions you have planned on our mySuccess event calendar and on our website.

If you would like to host a session specifically for University of Windsor students, we would suggest hosting your event on a Thursday anytime from 3:00pm to 5:00pm from January 13th to March 10th. This time slot will maximize your student attendance as all Faculty of Education students will be available.

If you would like to us to promote a session you are already hosting or plan to host for University of Windsor students, please send these details (ex. session description, registration instructions, a link to join) to careerevents@uwindsor.ca.
