My role is the manager of analytical development laboratory for a contract pharmaceutical manufacturer.  Analytical development is responsible for the development and validation of methods used to test materials going into the products as well as the finished products themselves.  Our team also supports a variety of testing activities.  In my specific role I am involved in leading and supporting the scientists in our team and interfacing with customers to ensure that they get the data needed to make decisions and help with data interpretation and analysis.

Haldimand Family Health Team - Registered Kinesiologist

As a registered kinesiologist and certified respiratory educator working in primary care I am an independent provider practicing full scope kinesiology services. Kinesiology services include patient assessment, education, counselling, rehabilitation, and making recommendations to other care providers. Service areas include orthopedics, geriatrics and healthy aging, postpartum recovery, neurological rehabilitation (including multiple sclerosis, concussions, etc), and chronic disease management for conditions like COPD, diabetes, and obesity. I oversee a large randomized control trial that is testing the effectiveness of a sexual assault resistance program for teen girls in Windsor, London, and Kingston Ontario. My role is responsible for recruitment and outreach efforts for the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.  With a goal of nearly 1000 students per year, I create events, visit high schools and welcome students to campus to answer any questions they have about our 12 AAU's.  I recruit for over 50 programs and we recently launched our new Coop opportunity for 10 of our programs.

United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County - Post-Secondary Transition & Alumni Team Lead - On Track to Success

Responsible for planning, promoting and facilitating post-secondary retention programming for On Track to Success Alumni in collaboration with local post-secondary institutions. Additional duties include delivering post-secondary Grade 12 transition programming, systems navigation support, and advocacy on behalf of graduates to ensure they are getting the supports they need from both community and post-secondary institutions.

Vistaprint - Plant Quality Manager

In my role as Plant Quality Manager, I manage a team of Quality Engineers, Supervisor(s),
Technicians and Sr. Inspectors.  I lead and participate in Gemba walks for Quality concerns in all Value Stream Organizations (VSOs).  I am responsible for Quality metric reporting for the Weekly Business Review (WBR), data entries into Confluence webpage, create standard templates for the team to communicate Plant Quality Metrics.  I support the development and adherence of new Quality processes rolled out to the shop floor, mentor and support the Professional Development of all Quality Engineers and Supervisor(s), and monitor staffing levels and manpower resources on a regular basis to rebalance as required.  I conduct Team Member and New Hire interviews to participate in the recruitment process.  I volunteer for and participate in HR led activities (Random Acts of Kindness, Wellness Day) and seek out constructive criticisms to improve Quality processes.

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Science Honours Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Option Cooperative Education; Professional engineering license (PENG) in the Province of Ontario (PEO) active since 2018; American Society for Quality (ASQ) member active since 2021; Certified Quality Engineer active since 2023.

Vistaprint - Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety

Manage & develop a team of EHS professionals;  Accountable for the EHS Management System, applicable policies, standards, and EHS training programs; Responsible to identify mission critical EHS investment including equipment, software and training programs; Monitor legal compliance, risk assessment, and sustainability programs; Work with Operations and Engineering to continuously improve all aspects of EHS; Ensure the timely and comprehensive reporting, investigation and root cause analysis of incidents, injuries, fires, spills, etc. in order to ensure both effective corrective action and trend analysis; Audit and provide reporting to leadership teams on compliance with applicable local legal and Vistaprint regional requirements; Ensure the timely reporting of sustainability data and analysis by site team members; Provide technical assistance and insights regarding site-specific EHS initiatives and progress; Provide EHS input to project, compliance, risk and insurance issues.

Vistaprint - Manager, Facilities & Plant Engineering

I manage the Vista Windsor Facilities team.  The Facilities team is responsible for the basic building upkeep, managing the janitorial services, coffee program, grounds maintenance services, facility climate control, the material handling conveyance system within the facility.

Vistaprint - Purchasing Manager

As the Purchasing Manager supporting Vistaprint sites in Windsor and Reno, I'm responsible for leading a team of Purchasing Professionals to ensure timely and competitive purchases for raw materials, services, and equipment.   In addition to that, my role supports the on time launch of new products for Vistaprint, which requires working on cross functional Technology, Engineering, Marking and Quality Teams.

As the North America senior manager of Manufacturing Technology for Vistaprint, I lead a team of 8 engineers, 1 maintenance technician and 1 engineering co-op student.  The team is responsible for the manufacturing set up and launch of all new products for Vistaprint NA.  We are also responsible for scouting, evaluating, recommending, and installing new equipment for the NA manufacturing plants.  In doing so, we aim to deliver ever increasing value for our customers through compelling products of great quality, at the lowest possible cost and always delivered on time.

I am the engineering manager at Vistaprint. My team is made up of 7 Manufacturing engineers. The core role of my team is to; 
- Use lean manufacturing principles to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
- Lead and support the launch of equipment, product, process, continuous improvement and automation projects for production equipment, utilities, and facilities.

YMCA - Program Coordinator, Power of Trades Program

The Power of Trades program is a pre-employment training program for newcomers to Canada held in Windsor, Ontario. During a 4-week session, participants receive information and practical advice about finding and keeping a job in the skilled trades in Ontario. Examples of material covered in the training includes: understanding the apprenticeship process in Ontario, preparation for the Certificate of Qualification exam, labour laws and regulations in Ontario, understanding what Canadian trades employers look for in a new employee, resume and interview preparation, guest speakers from local industry, and other useful information and activities.
