Who should attend the Job Fair?
The Job Fair is open to employers who are actively recruiting for employment opportunities that are suitable for current students or graduates from the University of Windsor and St. Clair College. Job Fair is an event for organizations who are recruiting for summer, internship, volunteer, co-op, part-time and full-time opportunities. This fair can include job opportunities that exist at the present time of the event or in the future as both current students and alumni are invited to attend Job Fair.

Who can I expect to meet?
Students and Alumni from the University of Windsor and St. Clair College. We anticipate between 1500 and 2000 students to attend.

Will I have an electrical outlet available at my booth?
Only companies who register and pay for a Premium Booth will have access to electricity.

Will there be a place to photocopy and/or print information at the Job Fair?
No, there will not be a place to make copies or print information on site.

Will there be a place to conduct interviews at the Job Fair?
There will not be a place to conduct interviews on-site; however, both St. Clair College and University of Windsor offer space on campus to host interviews at a later date.

Registration Policy
Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations must be submitted through the online registration system. Organizations with an outstanding invoice will not be permitted to attend Career Services events until payment has been received in full for all past and current events. Booth assignments will be based on the type of booth requested (Premium vs Standard) and then ordered alphabetically. The hosting institution has the right to vet registrations to ensure organizations are actively recruiting for employment (paid or volunteer).

Who is eligible to register as a Job Fair exhibitor?
Registration for Job Fair is restricted to organizations actively recruiting for paid full-time, part-time, contract, seasonal, or co-op/internship employment opportunities suitable for current students or graduates from the University of Windsor and/or St. Clair College. Promotion of unpaid positions, products, services, or business opportunities (where upfront costs are required or minimum wage is not guaranteed) are prohibited. Opportunities being promoted at the fair should be accepting applications during or within six months of the event, as both current students and alumni are invited to attend Job Fair.

Third-party recruitment agenices may attend the fair, but will be asked to disclose which clients and active roles they will representing. If their client is also in attendance, they must refrain from promoting that client's roles during the fair. While we recognize the important role that service providers play for job seekers, only employers who are actively recruiting may register for the Job Fair. Event organizers from the University of Windsor and St. Clair College reserve the right to prohibit an employer from participating in this event based on complaints, behaviours, or actions contrary to event guidelines, and for any other reason at their reasonable discretion.

Is there a place I can post the jobs I'm recruting for at the fair?
Yes! We encourage all of our job fair exhibitors to post their jobs before the fair so that candidates can review them in advance and arrive at your booth more prepared. Posting your jobs will also allow  you to reach candidates that may not be able to attend the fair in person. Both St. Clair College and the University of Windsor have job boards for their students and alumni.

St. Clair College’s CareerCentral online portal allows employers to post job opportunities for students, alumni and community clients. Visit www.stclaircollege.ca/careercentral or email careercentral@stclaircollege.ca to get started.

The University of Windsor offers an online Job Board for you to post career opportunites to UWindsor students and alumni. View our recruitment guidelines and visit our website for more information. Questions? Email employer@uwindsor.ca
