Withdrawals

You are academically and financially responsible for your course(s) once you register, unless you withdraw officially by the deadlines listed below.

No refunds will be issued after the withdrawal early deadlines.

Please note that if you withdraw within the deadline, you will still incur a $100 non-refundable administration fee. 

We understand that there are situations that may arise that require special accommodations. Therefore, prior to choosing to withdraw, contact your Instructor to discuss your situation. However, the $100 administration fee will be withheld.

Deadlines

Spring/Summer Courses:
Withdrawal early – within 7 calendar days of the course start date (no grade penalty & refund minus admin fee)
Withdrawal late – prior to 14 days before the course end date (final grade of incomplete & no refund)

Fall/Winter Courses:
Withdrawal early – within 14 calendar days of the course start date (no grade penalty & refund minus admin fee)
Withdrawal late – prior to 30 days before course end date (final grade of incomplete & no refund)

If you withdrawal after the withdrawal late deadline, or if you do not complete the course work, you will receive a final grade of F.

Procedure

Log in to your Continuing Education account. If you forget your password click on the forgot password link. In your student account there will be a withdrawal button. Withdrawals cannot be reversed once you proceed.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued by cheque only regardless of payment method at time of registration.

Non-refundable amounts – (before OR after the course starts)
$100.00 administration fee
$50.00 French Proficiency Test fee (if applicable)

Course Cancellations

The University of Windsor reserves the right to cancel course offerings and to change locations and dates. Candidates will be notified of any cancellations and a full refund including the non-refundable amounts will be issued.
