This intensive one-week Summer Institute will provide participants with 30 hours of in-depth exploration and discussion of the principles and applications of clinical health research. Participants will be engaged by a team of experts in discussions pertaining to the understanding and applications of topics such as qualitative research and evidence based practice, the use of mixed methods in clinical health research, epidemiologic research designs, clinical trials, and statistical modeling techniques in clinical health research. Other topics will include successful grant writing, running a successful research program and ethical issues in clinical health research.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from University of Windsor Continuing Education.
University of Windsor graduate students in Nursing and other programs are eligible to enrol in the Summer Institute of Clinical Health Research for credit by registering via the UWinsite Student System for course NURS-8840.
