Student Recognition

The English Language Improvement Program celebrates students’ English language development and their individual contributions to the learning experience. ELIP students can be honoured through three different types of recognition:

  • The Instructor-nominated Certificate of Merit celebrates individuals who have made significant strides to improve their overall English language acquisition.
  • The Peer-nominated Certificate of Merit is an opportunity for students to identify peers who have displayed aspects of leadership, collaboration or practices which are in line with the attributes of being a role model.
  • Honour Roll students are recognized for achieving the highest final mark in their ELIP levels. One student per ELIP level is recognized. Such students have obtained a minimum cumulative average of 80%.

Student Health and Wellness

Available in ELIP Online, Therapy Assisted Online (TAO) modules aim to help you gain the knowledge, self-awareness, and skills you need to achieve your goals. Different topics will be included throughout the term. Modules can be accessed through Blackboard.
