#2012-NU-04 Custodial Supervisor (Temporary), Department of Facilities Services

Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services, this position is responsible for custodial services in all buildings under the scope of Facility Services as well as responsible for the set-up of multiple events across campus. The Supervisor is responsible for the daily assigning of staff, training, overseeing and the performance of the custodial staff. The Supervisor insures the staff work within the policies and procedures as outlined in the health and safety manual, risk management manual and all federal and provincial laws. The Supervisor performs inventory control, prepares written reports and employee evaluations as required. Other associated areas of responsibility are maintained in a manner conducive to enhancing the University image and to provide a pleasant, clean, safe environment.

Reporting to the Manager of Residence Life, the Residence Life Coordinator facilitates on-going planning, development, supervision and evaluation of various aspects of the Residence Life Program on campus. The Residence Life Coordinator is required to live in residence (a fully furnished one bedroom apartment is provided with subsidized rent) and must be available, visible and approachable during their on-call 24-hour rotation where he/she is available to the entire Residence system.
