Event promises a date with science

A chemistry magic show, phunky physics show, and hands-on interactive displays are on offer Saturday, May 9, when the University of Windsor hosts Science Rendezvous 2015.

"Folks can discover cutting‐edge cancer research, enjoy art based on science, watch physics demonstrations - there is something for everyone!" said Chitra Rangan, UWindsor professor and the faculty advisor for the student-run Science Rendezvous Windsor Organizing Committee.

Students and faculty in a range of disciplines mount the annual affair. All activities will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the CAW Student Centre and Essex Hall.
