Drama students to give audiences something to Munsch on

A free performance by drama students will preview their show for schoolchildren — Munsch on This! — featuring adaptations of stories by author Robert Munsch.

The cast, drawn from students in the course “Theatre for Young Audiences,” will bring to life some of Munsch’s delightfully absurd tales, including the bestselling classic The Paper Bag Princess. They will perform in front of local elementary schools starting Dec. 5.

As a warm-up, the campus community is invited to watch a run-through on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the Movement Studio, room 102, Jackman Dramatic Art Centre.

Drama students will preview an adaptation of classic stories by children’s author Robert Munsch Wednesday before taking their show on the road to local grade schools.
