The sixth annual Celebration of Teaching Excellence will pay tribute to the efforts of all educators on campus to inspire, engage, and enrich student learning, in the CAW Student Centre's Ambassador Auditorium, on Monday, November 14, at 4 p.m.
Hosted by the Office of the Provost and the Centre for Teaching and Learning, this year’s celebration includes:
- acknowledgement of the University's many teaching award winners, and University Teaching Certificates graduates;
- video tributes on campus-wide award winners featuring their colleagues and students;
- a poster session highlighting teaching and learning research and development projects supported by the CTL's Centred on Learning Innovation Fund (CLIF) and the annual Windsor-Oakland Teaching and Learning Conference; and
- celebration of the inaugural Roger Thibert Teaching Excellence Award for Science.
“The Celebration of Teaching Excellence is the University of Windsor's annual opportunity to recognize, as a community, the many and varied contributions made by our faculty colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the disciplines,” says Alan Wright, vice-provost, teaching and learning.
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. To RSVP, contact Marilyn Powley by e-mail at mpowley@uwindsor.ca.
