#2012-13-05 Clinical Coordinator Classification "VII" in the Faculty of Nursing, substitute vacancy (for approximately one year – approximate start date June 18, 2012)

Working closely with the Faculty of Nursing’s other Clinical Coordinator, Dean, Associate Dean, Assistant to the Dean, Undergraduate/Graduate Coordinators, Level Coordinators and faculty/staff, the incumbent will coordinate the placement of nursing students in clinical agencies throughout the tri-county area and beyond as needed. As well, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clinical agencies, and will seek new agencies for placement, in collaboration with other nursing schools in the region, interface with both the university community and external health care community and represent the Faculty of Nursing and the University of Windsor to clinical agencies. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining the database to track students’ clinical placement history and other data.

The FASS & ITS Helpdesk Desktop Support Consultant contributes to the effectiveness of the academic units and administrative departments by managing desktop computing. This position is split between the Faculty of Arts and Social Science and IT Services. They are responsible for providing technical support and consulting on hardware and software on an on-going basis. S/he researches, proposes and prepares purchase recommendations for computer hardware/software configurations. Provides leadership and support to students and works in a collaborative atmosphere with other on-site consultants to resolve clients’ problems. S/he works with other IT Services professionals to assist in resolving or investigating problems encountered by other IT Services groups.
