Carol Perkes, board governance officer in the Office of the University Secretariat, won Monday’s DailyNews quiz and the prize of a beautiful T-shirt emblazoned with the UWindsor logo.

Perkes’ entry was drawn from those who correctly identified the Centre for English Language Development as the former home of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 143, the Neal Education Building as the former home of the Faculty of Business Administration, the LeBel Building as the former home of General Fire Extinguisher Corporation, the Music Building as the former home of Campus Billiards, and the University Computer Centre as formerly housing the gymnasium St. Denis Hall.

To help celebrate the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary, DailyNews will run a contest at the beginning of each week, offering a prize donated by the University Boookstore. Today’s prize, a cotton T-shirt embroidered with the new UWindsor logo, is available for purchase from the Bookstore’s kiosk in the CAW Student Centre for $14.95.
