Vancouver-based poet Catriona Strang will give two free public readings on campus this week:
- Tuesday, February 11, at 11:30 a.m. in room 265, Dillon Hall; and
- Wednesday, February 12, at 1 p.m. in room 263, Chrysler Hall South.
Strang is a founding member of the Institute for Domestic Research and the author of the forthcoming Corked, 1993’s Low Fancy, and 1997’s Steep, and co-author with the late Nancy Shaw of Busted and Light Sweet Crude.
Strang’s Windsor visit, her first to the city, is funded by the Canada Council for the Arts Literary Readings Program and by the UWindsor Department of English Language, Literature, and Creative Writing.
