The Faculty of Nursing is soliciting donations to dedicate a campus bench in memory of student Jessica Girard.

President of the Nursing Society, Girard died May 15. Prior to her illness, she was to have graduated with the nursing class of 2014.

The faculty has created an online link to accept contributions and pledges for a memorial bench to be situated on campus, bearing a plaque with a message dedicated to Girard. Gifts of $10 and more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
