Fair provides roadmap to graduate and professional studies

She isn’t sure what she wants to do once she completes her undergraduate degree in behaviour, cognition and neuroscience, says Erica Figgins, but she’s pretty sure it will involve further education.

That’s why the first-year student headed to the CAW Student Centre on Tuesday for the Graduate and Professional Schools Fair.

“I’m keeping my options open,” Figgins said. “I just want to get all the information.”

She was one of hundreds of UWindsor students to make their way through the displays by more than 40 educational institutions promoting their graduate programs, post-graduate certificate programs and professional schools.

“It’s a big success so far,” said Yvonne Currie, career development coordinator in the Student Success Centre. “I am very happy with the turnout.”

The event continues from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, with a focus on medical, health, education and college programs. Find details, including a list of participating schools, on the fair’s website.
