Francis Arnaldo of the Chemical Control Centre won Wednesday’s DailyNews trivia quiz and the prize of a pair of tickets to see the University Players perform Shakespeare’s comic classic Twelfth Night.
Arnaldo’s name was drawn from all those respondents who correctly answered that an illegal drinking establishment is a blind pig, the Guardian Building was originally named the Union Trust Building, and the Purple Gang comprised the rhythm section in the song Jailhouse Rock.
He will receive two tickets to see the University Players production, continuing its run through March 22 in the Jackman Dramatic Art Centre’s Hatch Studio Theatre. Performances Wednesday through Saturday are at 8 p.m.; Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m., as is an additional Saturday on March 14. Order tickets online at www.UniversityPlayers.com or by calling 519-253-3000, ext. 2808.
