The director and cast members of the upcoming University Players production The 39 Steps are the guest speakers at a “Let’s Talk Theatre” luncheon Wednesday, November 22.

Set in Willistead Manor, all turned out for the holidays, the event promises the inside story on bringing to the stage a hilarious adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 spy thriller.

The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and features a three-course meal:

• winter soup;
• rolled turkey with stuffing, green beans, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce;
• cheesecake with chocolate sauce, served with coffee or tea;

as well as the presentation.
